Merry Christmas!

A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our lovely readers.

My take on the Christmas lights of Mount Pleasant.

I was very kindly sent these photos of the Christmas lights in town 25 years ago by Martin Yardley. How do they compare to today?

A belated Happy Christmas to you both and very best wishes for 2013. Thank you for producing such a splendid way for me to keep in touch with the town of my first 18 years back in the black and white days. Max

You are very kind, Max, thank you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.

Foreword

  • A spritely 30-something living with my beautiful wife in the most fabulous town in the entire world, Royal Tunbridge Wells.
We love to soak up the culture, nature and the countryside in this idyllic part of the Weald and because we love our town so much I made this blog to share it with the rest of you.
